This quick and easy dish is perfect for your own Fiesta!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 2 cups salsa, divided
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) Mexican style cheese, divided
  • 1 package Fleischmann's® Simply Homemade® No Knead Bread Mix, any flavor

Directions

Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain. Add taco seasoning and cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes. Combine meat with 1 cup salsa and evenly distribute in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese. 

Prepare bread mix as directed on package, but do not let rise. Flour hands and stretch pieces of dough over the top of the meat mixture.

Place in a COLD oven, setting temperature to 350°F.  Bake for 20 minutes and top with remaining salsa and cheese.  Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Recipe Tip: Serve with toppings such as sliced black olives, chopped green onions, diced tomatoes and sour cream for an extra festive look.
