Ingredients
- 1 package Fleischmann's® Simply Homemade® Italian Herb No Knead Bread Mix
- 1/4 cup chopped kalamata olives
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions
Prepare breadstick dough according to package directions but omit the oil and add the olives.
Place dough on a clean, dry surface and divide into 12 equal pieces. Using your hands, roll each piece into a 6 to 8-inch breadstick.
Place breadsticks on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Cover breadsticks with a towel; place in a warm area for 45 minutes. Dough will rise, but will not double in size.
Lightly brush all breadsticks with olive oil. Sprinkle breadsticks with Parmesan cheese. Tip: To get the maximum amount of cheese on the breadsticks (and not on the pan!) sprinkle with one hand and place other hand against edge of each breadstick to act as a shield.
Bake breadsticks in preheated 400°F oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool 10 minutes before enjoying.
