Ingredients

  • 1 package Simply Homemade® Honey Chipotle Cornbread
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chives
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 450˚F. Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. 

Combine mix, milk, cheese and chives in a medium-sized mixing bowl.* Mix with a spoon until blended.

Use a small scoop or heaping tablespoon to drop dough onto prepared baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly brown. 

Combine melted butter and garlic powder. Brush onto hot biscuits. Serve.

*Optional add-in:  Stir ½ cup chopped bacon into the mix.
